What comes next?

Does this Question come up in your life regularly??

Are you like me?

Questioning what is happening in your world and what you are doing with your life day in and day out?

I know that I am - I wonder every day when life happens.

   WHAT COMES NEXT?

My day-to-day is mostly fairly normal.  I work a full-time job.  I talk with the people that call my office, my colleagues and friends.

I continue to want to know how to make my life a more aligned, a more centered and more grounded soul and self.

I took the first step, and became a Certified Biddy Tarot Transformational Coach!

I want to focus on people - just like you - that are interested in making changes to their lives.

New career?

New Job?

New outlook?

Finding your purpose and a new spiritual path to alignment with your Soul?

The next thing I want to accomplish is to help YOU find the answers to the same questions I asked myself in my journey to this point.

I asked myself this:

What do I REALLY want for my life?

What does it look like?

I love to journal - this is part of what I can offer you.  Journal Prompts, visualizations, mediations and more to help you move through this "sticky" time in your life.

Take some time to think about this question - and write it down. Paper to pen; fingers to keyboard; even take a walk and ponder these ideas as you move down the path you choose to walk today, tomorrow.

I like to have my notes. I'm an old-fashioned Paper and Pen gal!

Come up with one idea you REALLY want.  I asked myself this question: Freedom.

Yes, this was a bit more "complicated" for me when I started.  What did it LOOK like?

I considered my past - when was I most content/happiest? How did that relate to my thinking around the concept of freedom.

It was more "free" time. It was more choice available to me in each decision I make.

Take these thoughts you have, your desires - and come up with a concrete question.  We can work with this question to co-create a journey and a plan for you to answer:

WHAT COMES NEXT?

A Daily Tarot (or Oracle) Draw

Ask a Daily Question!

The beauty of tarot is the ability to hold the cards close and find a question that resonates with your soul.

You may sit down, light a candle, ask the Universe for guidance and lay out the cards in front of you.  The tarot will always bring light to your questions.  I use the tarot as a guide.  I open to the wisdom the cards bring to the reader.

I spend time writing my thoughts as they arise in response to the cards.

Some days, "What can I expect today?" is enough to get started.  Other days, there is deeper work to do. Writing the words can be the release and renew needed to get a better idea of what is happening inside your soul.

I use the tarot as tool for self-reflection and introspection. I ask MANY questions.  My daily question will usually spark MORE questions and reflection.

So - if you are new to tarot (or oracle) and are interested in a daily (or weekly) practice, grab your cards, a journal or paper, pen and start here!

Find a quiet, comfortable space.  Light a candle, incense, anything that brings you joy and peace.

Sit comfortably - however that is for you.  Close the eyes/take a downward gaze (whatever works for you) and settle in to your seat. Breathe.

After a few breaths, re-orient to your space, select your questions for the cards and shuffle.

If you have more than one or two questions - write them down, or key words so you remember.

Shuffle the cards - anyway you would like. There are many ways to do this, so you do what works.   Shuffle until the cards are moving smoothly.  All the while, thinking about the question(s) you want to ask.  As the cards move smoothly in  your hands, stop when you feel ready.  Draw a card for each question.

You will want to gaze at the card, allow the imagery to inform your reflections, too.  If you are brand-new to tarot, you may want to rely on the information in the booklet or another source.  Choose some key words; this is where you put pen to paper, and allow the messages to flow.

New questions may appear - journaling will likely open up your awareness.  My practice is to write about whatever comes up - even if I go off track.  There is always information to discover!

If you feel that you need more clarity, pull another card to move the process along, but remember, don't over do.  The tarot knows and will start throwing confusing messaging.  I tend to pull my cards and stick with them.  In rare cases, I will feel the need to clarify, but not often.  Sometimes a new question will arise, asking for another card, and I will pull one.

You may be wondering at this point:

What do I even ask the cards?

Here are a few ideas:

Consider your day-to-day.  Are you noticing any recurring  thoughts?  If you have something that is "bugging" you - put that down as a question:  "How ... "  "What ..." and draw a few cards and see what comes up.

Even just "What do I need to know about ..."  can be a useful question.

Some other possibilities:

* What new ideas are just under the surface I should listen for?

*What does success look like to me?

*Where I am holding back in (situation)?

*What can I let go of to move forward?

*What is one step I can take today towards my goal(s)?

*What does the Universe hold for me today?

*Where can I look for inspiration?

Questions about work/career are common, and these questions are a great starting point to clarify those queries.

These are just a few of the questions that can help in a card reading practice that will open up the soul to new thoughts and ideas.

I do hope you found this helpful and useful to your daily practice.
